About Us

Since the Summer of 2020 I have been delivering Paediatric First Aid in the Tameside and surrounding areas, supported by the Sunflower Childcare Group.  After two very successful years, I have decided to rebrand my business to appeal to a wider audience. To this end, I have engaged the help of Elaine Sagar, CEO at the Sunflower Group & Emma at Shone Creative Design to rebrand/launch my latest enterprise with an official unveiling at the North West Ofsted Big Conversation as one of the exhibitors at the University of Bolton Stadium.

I have been operating under the banner of '8ASH Limited' for the past two years offering high quality, affordable First Aid Training to the Early Years sector in the Greater Manchester area. 

To date, I have trained over 300 Childcare Practitioners in the 'art' of Paediatric First Aid. From Day One, my aim has been to offer First Aid training at a cost that is affordable to settings who, due to a lack of sufficient government funding, operate on very restricted budgets. 

Having been a Primary School Headteacher for the past 30 years I have a good insight into the day-to-day routines of nursery practitioners and the external pressures placed upon them. I believe this gives me an advantage when delivering the training as I have a good understanding of the medical 'situations' practitioners find themselves dealing with. 

Moving forward, I am hoping to consolidate my work in the Early Years sector, reaching out to as many 'new' nurseries as is humanly possible.

My training is fully accredited by Aid Training & Operations Ltd, Warminster and each participant is issued with a 'Certificate of Completion' at the end of the course.
