After successfully completing this course, individuals will be authorised to provide first aid in the workplace. This course might be suitable for workplaces that have been assessed as low-risk. Furthermore, it fulfills the requirements outlined in the Health & Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981, specifically in Appendix 6 regarding the content of an Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) Course.

This qualification is designed to provide learners with the necessary skills to become certified first-aiders in the workplace. The program is adjustable to accommodate a variety of industries & organisations. The First Aid at Work program lasts for three days and combines both practical and theoretical sessions.  Topics such as the responsibilities of a first-aider, incident evaluation, and identifying the signs and symptoms of illnesses and injuries are discussed. Hands-on skills related to cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), automated external defibrillator (AED) use, and major injury and illness management such as chest injuries, spinal injuries, and anaphylaxis are also covered.

Based on guidance from the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), this qualification grants a period of three years to act as a workplace first-aider. However, learners are advised to review their knowledge annually. This certification is valid for three years from the date of award.

This Paediatric First Aid course is intended for those employed in childcare settings and recognised by Ofsted. This qualification is tailored to fulfils the obligatory paediatric first aid demands established in the statutory Early Years Foundation Stage. Through the course, learners will gain the skills and knowledge needed to take on different paediatric first aid conditions, illnesses, wounds, and unexpected events when taking care of children.

Successful candidates will be awarded the Paediatric First Aid certificate valid for 3 years.

The Health and Safety Executive recommends this course to all those who have completed either First Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid at Work training, in order to maintain the necessary level of skill proficiency.
